How do I find out if LAG will be running a course on a particular area in the future?
We publish details of our courses and events online as soon as these are confirmed. But if the course you're interested in is not featured please e-mail lag@lag.org.uk.
How do I find out if you still have places available for a particular course?
Please check our website training page or call us on 020 7833 2931.
Are there any concessionary places available?
LAG offers a number of booking rates via Eventbrite, including concessionary rates for student and unwaged individuals. If you're unsure of which ticket to purchase, please email lag@lag.org.uk regarding your employment/student status and any other information that you think relevant.
Would you be able to invoice my organisation?
LAG no longer offers invoicing options for courses or events. All bookings should be made via Eventbrite, which requires a card payment to complete a purchase.
LAG may agree to invoice organisations in special circumstances. Please note that payment terms on any invoices issued will be listed as immediate and bookings will only be confirmed once full payment has been made.
How do I gain my CPD points?
If you wish to claim course attendance as part of your Continuing Professional Development, please ensure you sign the registration form when you arrive for your course.
I'd like to cancel a pre-booked place on a course, is it possible to get a refund?
If, for any reason, you need to cancel a booking, a cancellation fee will be incurred.
If you cancel more than 28 days before the start date of the course, a cancellation fee of £30 will be charged. If you cancel between 28-14 days before the start date of the course, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total course fee will be charged. If you cancel within 14 days of the start date of the course, the full course fee is payable and no refund will be given.
Please note that the administrative fee charged by Eventbrite is non-refundable.
I have an idea for a course that LAG might like to run, who should I contact?
We are always open to new ideas, please email the details to the training department at lag@lag.org.uk.
What is LAG policy on making training courses accessible?
Training courses are presented in accessible venues with induction loop systems and sign language interpreters, if required. When possible, content will be provided in advance of an event. Please email lag@lag.org.uk for information about wheelchair accessibility and dietary or other requirements. When booking, you can also indicate your requirements on the booking form in the space provided. Every effort will be made to ensure your needs, as requested, are met.
Do you offer in-house training?
Yes – if you have ten or more people in your organisation who require training on the same subject we may be able to provide an in-house course at a more cost-effective rate. For more information about in-house training please contact the training department on 020 7833 2931 or at lag@lag.org.uk.
