Facts: Mr Kosi was an unlawful overstayer, in immigration detention and facing imminent removal from the UK on account of his unlawful presence and offending history.
Judgment: Laing J awarded Mr Kosi an injunction restraining his removal as it appeared that the Secretary of State for the Home Department had not properly taken into account a direction by the family court that regular contact would be Mr Kosi’s child’s best interests.
