Labour held the first meeting of its commission on legal aid last month. The commission is headed by Lord Bach; members include Carol Storer and Laura Janes, who are both on LAG’s board. Janes is attending the commission in a personal capacity, while Storer is attending in her capacity as the director of the Legal Aid Practitioners Group
