Digital dispute resolution mooted
Richard Susskind, the high profile academic and lawyer, launched the Civil Justice Council’s (CJC) report on online dispute resolution last month.
The report recommends establishing a three-tier online civil dispute resolution system. In the foreword to the report, Lord Dyson, chair of the CJC said that the system had ‘enormous potential’ for resolving low-value claims and that he believed the report would ‘act as a catalyst for far-reaching reforms to our civil justice system’.
