ILPA on the civil proposals There is a meeting in London at the LSE on Monday, and the big meeting of crime practitioners takes place on Wednesday, with a demonstration outside Parliament on Wednesday morning. There are two main e-petitions here and here. It must be recognised that legal aid is not always viewed sympathetically by the wider public. Two excellent new sites - Save Legal Aid and A Barrister's Wife - explain in their different ways to a lay audience the value and impact legal aid can have.
