Shaun McNally (pictured) has been appointed the new chief executive of the Legal Aid Agency (LAA). He took up the position on 1 April, replacing Matthew Coats, whose role as chief operating officer at the Ministry of Justice has expanded. Prior to joining the LAA as the director of case management in October 2012, McNally had worked for the Courts Service.
