The
legal aid bill got its
second reading in the Commons last week and has now gone into committe stage. The committee has
called for evidence, and will accept it at any time before 13th October - but the sooner the better.
Evidence should generally be no more than 3000 words and not have been previously published or circulated - so you can't just send in your consultation response again, but there is nothing to stop you re-writing it or making the same points again. If the government wouldn't listen to 5000 responses, perhaps the committee will?
